The challenge faced by Clinics in Motion was to develop a DVD educational product with content that would be universally and internationally useful in physiotherapy education and continuing professional education. Internationally, therapists (Both Physiotherapists and Physical Therapists) need to spend considerable resource updating their skills and continuing their drive towards best ‘evidence-based’ practice. In some jurisdictions this is termed CPD (Continuous Professional Development) where a personal portfolio is maintained. In other jurisdictions therapists must attain a required amount of CEU’s (Continuing Educational Units). Clinics in Motion can assist all therapist internationally in maintaining accreditation standards.
Active Learning
Clinics in Motion combines this visual resource with a new e-learning website that allows each module to be supported by an interactive workbook, expanded references and notes, a self directed notebook and a self correcting examination to improve, verify and audit participation. The active learning can help group practices to standardise and improve patient care.
Accredited Learning
Every hour spent in training costs money. If you have to travel away from your practice it can cost you significantly more. Clinics in Motion has partnered with many associations to provide accredited learning that you can use as part of your developmental portfolio. Because Clinics in Motion is carried out at a time and location of your choice it provides training that is self directed, self initiated, self timed and self activated. This results in a better quality of learning and of course lowers the cost of maintaining best standards.
